ITS manages a campus-wide MATLAB site license agreement. Through this agreement cluster users or groups may purchase licenses for cluster usage. However, these licenses must be designated only for cluster use. In addition, a separate license must be purchased for each person using MATLAB on the cluster. The cost is $144 per user for the current academic year and is paid by 1180 to ITS. The price of $144 covers the period from the date of purchase until August 31, 2007.
Please send the 1180 to the ITS Software Store at PD Box 34 or fax the 1180 to 2-4523. Pay $144 per person. Write on the 1180:
MATLAB license for ACCRE cluster for (fill in the name or names).Users who have not purchased this annual license from ITS are not granted access to MATLAB on the cluster.
In addition to the above policy: ACCRE may allow guest users to use an ACCRE Matlab license for approved periods of time. ACCRE has only two floater licenses for guest usage so cannot guarantee a floater license to any user for the entire period of guest usage.
