In pursuit of ACCRE mission and goals, ACCRE staff have been working with a group of investigators to determine future option for "buying into" the cluster. ACCRE is committed to meeting the needs of researchers with a diverse set of funding restraints and requirements.

Usage rights on the cluster are currently driven by fairshare allocations. These allocations are based on the number of nodes bought or leased. Job scheduler policies help insure that all researchers receive their "fair share".

Finally, for optimal cluster operating efficiency, disk space must be managed carefully and efficiently. Please familiarize yourself with the ACCRE disk quota and backup policies. In addition to cluster storage and backup, ACCRE offers remote storage services to Vanderbilt departments and laboratories regardless of whether they also use the cluster.
